Jammie Dodgers

Having made my little silver tea cup and saucer charm, I got to wondering “hmmm, now what else goes with tea...?”  Obvious answer – biscuits of course! This is the first in my little silver biscuit charm series:

Mmmmmm, tasty research...

Okay, so it’s not technically a Jammie Dodger, it’s an M&S jam and cream biscuit, but I liked the design of this one more than the traditional Jammie Dodger.

This one was tricky to wax carve, as all the little segments had to be equal and all line up with each other, and the centre had to be perfectly circular and symmetrical to hold it’s little gemstone “jam”.  Forgot to take work in progress shots of the wax carving, but I think it turned out really well.  it’s a lovely chunky silver charm so will work perfectly for a bracelet or necklace.
