If I Had a Hammer...

As it's Friday, I thought I'd buy myself a little treat.  A dress? Shoes?  No - a hammer of course!

Fretz Hammer

I love hitting things with hammers, and Fretz make some of the best hammers around.  They are not the cheapest, but they are designed by a jeweller for jewellers, and feel just wonderful to hold.

To try it out, I carved a plain heavy band from wax, cast into silver, then polished and hammered lovely shiny dimples into it.
